Ben & Lanae Miller
Candidates for Director of Student Ministries
Meet Ben and Lanae Miller. Ben grew up in New Boston and in Kirby Church. He went to and graduated from Inter-City Baptist High School. Lanae grew up in Flat Rock, went to Flat Rock schools and was also part of Kirby Student Ministries. They were high school sweethearts who started dating in 2017 (Ben’s senior year, Lanae’s junior year). They got married in June of 2022. They both went to college at Welch College in Gallatin TN, where Ben received a degree in Pastoral Ministry and Lanae a degree in Elementary Education.
Clayton & Taylor Kerr
Moving into new role: Generations Pastor
Clayton and his wife, Taylor, have served beautifully at Kirby since 2014. They are both natives of Oklahoma where they met and were married weeks before coming to Kirby. He has a Bachelors Degree in Pastor Ministries from Randall University in Moore, OK. He enjoys being active outside and he playing all sports especially golf. After a decade of serving our teens, Pastor Clayton will now move into the role of Generations Pastor where he will oversee all the family ministries at Kirby.
